Client Objective

The Albert Lea Children's Center is a web site that I redesigned. The Albert Lea Children's Center was ready to update their existing design. The original design was completed by one of our students Becky Dibble, who is now the owner of Studio Ten Design. The client stressed the importance of using bright vibrant colors and many photo's of children at the center. The client also wanted the design to reflect the image of their existing marketing materials.

Tools & Challenges

• Sample mockup's designed in Fireworks
• Full CSS design. Main content 1000 pixels wide
• Navigation implemented Listomagic Rollover Horizontal list navbar
• Trail map was saved as a PDF and opens in a new window
• Driving Directions was implemented using Google Maps
• Membership Levels uses a table on the Friends page.

Client Objective

The client was seeking a modern looking website that is responsive and look fantastic across all devices. The goal was a very clean and easy to navigate website. Search Engine Optimization is extremely important along with accessibility. The site must validate using the W3C validation services.

Tools & Challenges

• The mockup was designed at 1140 pixels wide
• The site uses HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap and jQuery.
• The navigation is build using an unordered list.

Client Objective

The goal of this website is to share key information about the Riverland Community College Computer Technology program. This site is also used to share student work. This WordPress site was designed to resemble a WordPress site, more so than a Blog page.
